John J. "Jack" Davies, 81, of Bethlehem Township, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Easton on October 3, 1941, he was a son of the late John J. Davies, Jr. and Arlene (Browers) Sitzmann and her late husband Harvey Sitzmann. He graduated from Wilson High School class of 1959. Jack served in the United States Airforce after high school, and later worked as a technician at ITT Electron Tube Division in Palmer Township.

Jack had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He liked to go camping and fishing with his friends and family, and he enjoyed taking care of his aquarium fish.

He is survived by the love of his life, Pauline "Peachie" (Farina) Davies, with whom he celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage; daughters, Debra Savoca and her husband Joseph, of Lancaster; Jennifer Schwartz and her husband Frank, of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Madison, Angela, Nathan, and Maura. Jack loved his family and his grandchildren, and he was very proud of all of their accomplishments.

Services will be private at the request of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Lehigh Valley Hospice-Allentown, 2024 Lehigh Street, Allentown, PA 18103 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
