John Robert Koss, 76, of Easton passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Born on August 13, 1946 in Michigan, he was the son of the late Richard and Darlene (Poplawski) Koss. He graduated from St. Agnes School in Towanda, PA and attended Kings College. He then joined the Army earning several medals including Army Achievement (twice), Army Good Conduct, National Defense Service (twice) and the Overseas Service Ribbon. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked as a computer programmer for a manufacturing company.

He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. After his retirement, he was an avid bowler belonging to leagues at Bardon Lanes. He enjoyed playing computer games and cheering his favorite driver of NASCAR.

John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Susan; sister, Cynthia Lance; brothers, Richard, James Christopher,  and Todd Koss. He will also be greatly missed by his faithful, loving dog, Chi-Chi.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Koss.

A calling hour will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service.
