Obituary

John Burton Lee Hollingsworth, also known as Lee, 81, of Long Pond, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 in Pocono Medical Center.

John Lee was born in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Mensner) Hollingsworth.

Lee was married to the former Dorothy G. Graf, before her passing. He was a Chemical Engineer for Union Carbide until retiring in 1982. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed restoring model A Fords, and riding his motorcycle and was an all-around great human being. Lee enjoyed traveling and wanted to be known as J.B, Lee Hollingsworth the Retired Traveler.

Lee was a member of F&AM Host Lodge in Clinton, NJ.

Lee is survived by his cherished companion Doreen Harriss; sons William Michael Hollingsworth and wife Valerie, Charles Edward Hollingsworth and wife Donna, Henry Lee Burton Hollingsworth and wife Karen; a daughter Margaret Ann Hollingsworth; an older brother Carson Hollingsworth; fourteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers Alton, James, and Edd Hollingsworth.

Memorial services will be on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com.
