John Thomas LeFosse, 89, of Douglassville, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Reading Hospital.

John was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Gennaro and Catherine (Godino) LeFosse.

John was married to Joan M. LeFosse for 52 years until her passing in 2014. He was a Salesman for Polly-O dairy products in Brooklyn for 30 years until retiring in 1992. John served in the US Army in Korea from 1951-1953. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.

John was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, and Immaculate Conception Church in Douglassville.

John is survived by sons Frank Balestrieri and wife Joan of Malverne, NY, Peter Balestrieri of Sag Harbor, NY; daughters Catherine Hill and husband Jeffrey of Douglassville, Joan LeFosse Paulsen and husband Erik of Weehawken, NJ, Debra LeFosse; a sister Dolores Alvarado; grandchildren Tara, Danean, Noah, Matthew, Olivia, Skywalker; great-grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, and Justin.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp.
