John J. Lilly, 67, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 in Warren Hospital. Born: John was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Paul and Evelyn (James) Lilly. Personal: John was a Mail Handler for the US Postal Service (Lehigh Valley), before retiring in 2009. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1965. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. John enjoyed collecting comics, was an Old Western aficionado, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Memberships: John was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in his younger years. Survivors: John is survived by his sons Deric Lilly of Lancaster, PA, Corey Lilly of Easton, Chadd Lilly of Easton; daughters Traci Lilly and husband John Greene of Easton, Ashli Jhan Krasznavolgyi and husband Joseph of Easton; brothers William Lilly of Phillipsburg, NJ; grandchildren Zane, Avani, Nicholas and Max. Services: A gathering time will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Memorial Service at 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
