John H. Lynch, 93, passed away Sunday March 4, 2018 at St. Lukes Hospice House in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Marion A. (Anselmo) Lynch to whom he married in 1956.

Born February 15, 1925 he was the son of the late Agnes Lynch.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII and the US Marines during the Korean War.

John was a Claims Director for Blue Shield of New Jersey for over 35 years until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain in Long Valley, NJ and St. Christophers in Parsippany, NJ. He was also a member of Rotary Club, United Way and a volunteer at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. John was inducted in the 2013 Hackettstown Senior Hall of Fame for his 13 years of volunteering at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Centers Emergency Room.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by a daughter Maureen Grasso and husband Arthur Grasso, Jr.; two grandsons Joseph Grasso and wife Kristen, and Mark Grasso and wife Tiffany; a great-granddaughter Danielle Grasso and a great-grand puppy Poe; a niece Nancy Ehlers and a nephew Robert Ehlers and various loving cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Twp. on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. An additional calling hour will be held Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Morello Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 1st St, Bethlehem. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
