Obituary

Name: John W. Jack Maloney, 92, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 3rd at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Bethlehem Twp. Born: Jack was born in Easton, a son of the late William and Sarah Maloney. Personal: Jack was married to his loving wife, Grace, for 64 years prior to her passing in October, 2011. Jack was a printer at Mack Printing, formerly in Wilson Borough, before retiring in 1985. He was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1937. He served in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre during WWII. Memberships: Jack was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, AARP and St. Anthonys Golden Age. Survivors: Jack is survived by his son, John Maloney, Jr. and wife Pamela of Reading, PA; his daughter Eileen Gianguzi and husband Charlie of La Quinta, CA; and a grandson Kevin. He is preceded in death by his wife Grace; sisters Irene Hindmarch, Catherine Sigus and Frances Crist; and brothers Willard and Albert Maloney. Services: A calling hour will be held on Friday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow the service in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). Memorial Contributions: Contributions in Jacks memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Place, Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA, 18045.
