John Samuel Petrignani, 84, of Allentown, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at The
Willow Retirement Village. John was born on January 17, 1938 to the late Samuel and Lena (Piscatello)
Petrignani in Easton, PA. He graduated from Easton High School and pursued his education at Rutgers
University.

During his high school years, he played basketball for St. Joseph's church. Later he was a coach in the
Steele Hill Baseball League in the 1970's. John worked at Jersey Central Power and Light as an
Environmental Engineer until his retirement in 1994.

John is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Gibb-Petrignani; son, Christopher Petrignani of Maryland;
brother Carl Petrignani of Ohio; and granddaughter, Caroline.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheri Spencer in August of 2021.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA
(Palmer Twp.) Graveside services will be held on November 21 at 10:00 in Gethsemane Cemetery,
William Penn Hwy, Palmer Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to the American
Parkinson Disease Association, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
