John C. Pleiss, 66, of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Gracedale Nursing Home.

He was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late John S. and Frances (Walsh) Pleiss.

John was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1971, and served in the Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War, and later was a driver for UPS and various trucking companies. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church; and Teamster Union 773. He enjoyed Nascar, and was an avid race car fan.

John is survived by a son John Pleiss; Christine Pleiss; step-children Shawn and wife Kristen, Nolan Kemmerer and wife Brianne; brothers James and Michael Pleiss; grandchildren Janiyah and Kiayanah Stevenson, Morgan, Conner and Claire Kemmerer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Pleiss.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
