Name: John E. Schimschock, 85 formerly of Easton passed away Saturday May 5, 2012 in VNA Hospice House of St. Lukes, Bethlehem. Born: He was born on November 24, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN a son of the late Edmund and Cyrilla G. Schmitz Schimschock. Personal: John is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Nostrand Schimschock in 2007. John grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Central High School and the University of St. Thomas. He proudly served our country in the US Coast Guard during WWII. He was employed as a salesman for Bell Atlantic retiring in 1991. John enjoyed reading and watching sports with his cat, Bart. Survivors: John is survived by his daughter Beth Brooks and her husband Bryan of Easton, PA, his brother Dr. James Schimschock and his wife Bonnie of Portland, Oregon and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, John is preceded in death by his twin sister Ellen Jarvis. Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
