Joseph T. Sandy Capuro, 69, of Ogdensburg, NY, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on January 16, 2014 in Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Born: Joseph was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Minerva (Follweiler) Capuro. Personal: Joseph was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1962. He also attended Gannon College in Erie, PA. Joseph was a manager for Victaulic, and later was owner of Sandys Custom Bait & Tackle shop in Ogdensburg, NY. He was an expert rod builder and an avid fisherman who loved the St. Lawrence River. He was active in the Bass Club, the Fishing Lure Club, Rod Crafters Association, and the pro Bass Fishing contest. Joseph was an accomplished artist, enjoyed cooking, and he loved his cat Sadie. Survivors: Joseph is survived by his sister Marie Steltz of Palmer Twp., and friend Joanne. Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Graveside service in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
