Joseph Febbo

Joseph Febbo, 96, of Palmer Twp., PA passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 in his home surrounded by family. Born on September 8, 1929 in Bangor, PA, he was the son of the late Erminio and Rose (Buzzuto) Febbo.

He graduated from Bangor High School and proudly served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge, he was employed as a corporate purchasing agent for Witco Chemical. After he retired, he started his own tax company where he served the public for more than 30 years.

Joseph was a member of the American Legion Post 9 and a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was gardening, yard work, or just sitting in the sun.

Joseph is survived by his daughters, Doreen Gaston, Michele Grounds and his grandpups, Lily Pad and Bonnie.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Bernice (Foss) Febbo and his 17 siblings.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 12:00 PM followed by interment at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Palmer Twp., PA.
