Name: Joseph Frinzi, 92, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st in Gracedale Nursing Home. Born: Joseph was born on August 24, 1918, in Easton, PA, a son of the late Anthony and Rosina (Boscia) Frinzi. Personal: Joseph was the proprietor of the former Frinzi Charcoal Pit in Easton, retiring in 1981. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a Bronze Star Medal recipient. He fought in Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Memberships: Joseph was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Holy Cross Society, Knights of Columbus, and various other clubs. Survivors: Joseph is survived by his sisters Mary Bondonese and Anna Corona, both of Easton; and nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by sisters Fannie DePolo, and Mamie Montoro; brothers John, Salvatore and Angelo Frinzi. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.), followed by a prayer service at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
