Joseph M. Monto, Jr., 59, of Easton, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at St. Luke's Easton.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of Joseph M. Monto, Sr. of New Jersey and the late Margaret (Michaels) Libby and her husband Daniel. He attended school in the Jersey City area before moving to Pennsylvania. Joseph worked in the construction trade most of his life. He was currently employed with Superior Decorating, Easton.

Joseph enjoyed his job and liked to work. When he wasn't working, he liked to watch NASCAR and wrestling. He loved his cats, Midnight and Little Bear.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph M. Monto, III, VA, Christopher Monto, Virginia; daughters, Angela Monto, SC, Susan Weaver, SC; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Marie Monto, NJ, Gail Brown, Bangor; brothers, Michael Monto, NJ, Jim Monto, NJ, Charlie Monto, Bangor, Bobby Monto, NJ; step brother, Gilbert Libby, NJ; step sisters, Margaret Thomas, NJ, Kelly Candido, Jackie Johnson, NJ, Jodi Monto, NJ.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his wife, Joan I. (Trasak) Monto; brother, John Monto.
