Joseph S. Piscitello, 84, of Palmer Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Easton Hospital.

Joseph was born on August 2, 1935 in Easton, PA, to the late Gaetano and Rosalia Piscitello.

Joseph was married to the former Gloria A. Difillippantonio with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage prior to her passing in October 2013. He was a graduate of West Chester College and was a beloved teacher for the Easton School District for many decades. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida and cherished memories of two visits to Italy. His passions included gardening, bocce, antiques and family.

Joseph was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was affectionately known as the "Mayor of Country Meadows" where he lived happily for the past three years alongside Flo Komisar.

Joseph is survived by his loving family including three sons and their spouses: Thomas J. and Andy Cha of Manhattan; Joseph T. Marissa A. Perrone of Philadelphia; Kevin J. and Amanda Latshaw of Philadelphia; his two grandchildren Antonio J. of Connecticut and Michael J. of Philadelphia; his brother Carl Piscitello of Easton; and his sister, Anna Testa of Easton. In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his siblings Salvatore, Anthony, Sadie, Eugene, Mary and Nancy.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9 ^th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp.
