Joseph S. Rivilli, Sr., 64, died peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Born in Astoria, NY he was a son of the late Felicia M. (Billone) Rivilli.

Joe was a caring person who had a big heart. He loved to joke around and have a house full of people any day of the week: good food, good music, and having his family and friends around him was all he needed. He also loved his NY teams, Giants, Yankees and Rangers. He also enjoyed playing quoits, cards, and pool. He loved his Italian heritage and can make awesome homemade meatballs and wine.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Karen (Lynch) Rivilli; sons, Joseph S. Rivilli, Jr. of Easton and Anthony Rivilli of Easton; daughter, Michele (Rivilli) Walter and her husband, Brad of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Ryan, Preston and Austin.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp.). An additional calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Monday, October 7, 2024 followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy, Easton. Memorial contributions in Joseph's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
