Joseph Delano Savoia, 83, of Martins Creek, PA, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 in his home.

Joseph was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Joseph and Sara (Piazza) Savoia.

Joseph was married to the former Connie Russo with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage last January 14. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1954 and attended Lafayette College before serving in the US Army as a Radio Repair Instructor. Joseph was a Technical Rep for Xerox Corp. of Northeastern PA and Western NJ, before retiring in 1995.

He was a member of the local Amateur Radio Club, and Easton YMCA for 30 years.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by a son Joseph D. Savoia Jr. and wife Kelly; grandchildren Kassey Seidof and husband Dan, Meagan Savoia, Hunter Savoia; great-grandchildren LeeAnn, Wyatt and Sharlet.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
