Joseph R. Zingales Sr. 80, of Wilson Boro, PA, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Joseph Zingales was born in Wilson Boro., PA, a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria ( Calandi) Zingales.Joseph served in the US Army during peacetime, in Germany. He was a graduate of Easton High School, the class of 1955. He was affiliated with the Philadelphia Produce Center. Joseph was self-employed at Zingales Produce, for over 50 years, in Easton, PA . He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, in Easton. Joseph was a member of Holy Name Society, Fleas Club, Citizens Hose, and Wilson Boro. Republican Club. Joseph is survived by a son Joseph Zingales and daughter-in-law Jennifer, of Palmer twp., two daughters Theresa Shiffert and her husband Michael, of Allentown, Sandra Zingales and companion John Smith of Avona Heights, 7 grandchildren Jacob, Megan and Olivia Shiffert, Nicholas, Matthew, Kyle Zingales, and Patricia Smith, a brother Anthony Zingales and his wife Margaret, of Easton, several nieces and nephews and long time companion Paek Pat Capobianco. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia (Long) Zingales who passed in 1980, four sisters Josephine Manos, Eleanor Zingales, Rose Probasco, Connie Ciavarella, and a brother Salvatore Zingales. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton (Palmer Twp.). Interment of cremains will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthonys Cemetery, in Williams Twp.
