Joseph T. Testa

Joseph T. Testa, 80, of Easton passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg Hospital. Born on August 26, 1945 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Alercia) Testa.

During his high school years, he played the saxophone in the EAHS Band and Orchestra. He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1963 and attended Northampton Community College, taking courses in Business Communication. Joseph acquired his Barber License from Lehigh Barber School.

In 1966, Joe was drafted into The United States Army. He served “in country” in the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1967. He started his professional career as a barber in the Easton and Bethlehem areas. He later worked in the sales department for Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Frito Lay Incorporated, and later, Banko Beverage until his retirement. He served on the Civil Service Commission for 12 years in Bethlehem Twp. In retirement he was employed by Morello Funeral Home as a funeral assistant.

Joe is survived by his wife, “Hun,” of 58 years, Dolores Ann (Patti) Testa; sons, Jason Testa and his wife Nikki, Joseph C. Testa and his wife, Sue, Jarod Testa and his wife Erica; grandchildren, Alix, Mia, Josh, Arohn, Bella, Izzy, and Bryce.

In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sister, MaryAnn Lisinicchia.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Ninth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
