Name: Josephine Jo T. Causa, 91, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in St. Lukes University Hospital. Born: Josephine was born in Oxford, NJ. One of five children, she was the only daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Bosco. Personal: Jo was the wife of the late Jack J. Causa with whom she shared more than 50 years of marriage prior to his death in 1993. She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1940 where she was a majorette. She owned and operated Jos Beauty Salon in Easton for many years. Jo enjoyed singing and frequently performed in the Local ILGWU shows and Chansonette Productions. She once was honored with the opportunity to sing with the famous Les Brown orchestra. After her husbands passing, Jo became the devoted cook for St. Anthony of Padua church where she was privileged to serve many Priests and several Bishops. Jo had a smile for everyone! Her positive energy inspired many as did her kind, considerate and helpful ways. Memberships: Jo was a very active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was also an active member of the Sacred Heart Sodality and was awarded Woman of the Year in 2002. Jo was devoted to daily mass and saying the rosary. Survivors: Jo is survived by her beloved son Jackie of Reston, VA; grandchildren Lori Causa Snyman of New York City, Jill Causa Dickens of Washington DC and Jack Timothy Causa of Reston, VA; and a great grandson Niall Dickens. In addition to her husband, Jo is preceded in death by her brothers Fred, Ben, Sam and James Bosco. Services: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Wednesday from 8:15 am to 9:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
