Personal: Josephine was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Liberta in 1979 and her son Dr. Thomas R. Liberta in 2004. She was employed as an inspector for Chipman Knitting Mills of West Easton for 25 years. Memberships: She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Palmer Twp. She was also a member of the Daughters of Fatima. Survivors: Josephine is survived by her son Ronald R. Liberta of Bethlehem; a sister Marguerite Zapack of Macungie, PA; grandchildren Thomas Liberta, Corinne Giannone, Leean Ruppert, Alicia Spirk, Nicole Polanki and Renee, Ronald, Maureen, Brian Liberta; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Sisters, Palma Fischera, Faye Vitale, Esther Conrad preceded Josephine in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30am in the church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Palmer Twp. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
