Obituary
Josephine Carol Macri Lucas, who was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 18,1944, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 from respiratory failure in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. Carol, (as she liked to be called), was the oldest daughter of three to Joseph Macri and Raffaela Onorato Macri. She was married to Constantinos Lucas until his passing.
Carol, a breast cancer survivor, was a consummate optimist and could always cheer those who needed it. She was kind and caring, an animal lover, and was greatly loved by anyone who knew her. To relax, Carol enjoyed knitting, word search, coloring, and drawing, but, her most favorite pastime was being with her children and grandchildren. Her career included being a manager at Kmart in the Poconos, PA, office manager at WNYG Radio in Babylon, NY, and the DJ for The Italian Hour at WGBB, Babylon, NY.
Left to cherish Carol's beloved memory are her children Joseph, Trisha, Charles and his wife Deborah, and Maria; her sisters Lucy Dundon and Gloria Macri; and her grandchildren Joseph, William, Theresa, Samantha, Antonio, Britney, and Poe.
The memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday February 27th at 1pm EST in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA 18045 (Palmer Twp). The service will also be available for viewing on Zoom at the provided link below.
