Josephine M. Michael, 91, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 in Manor Care Health Services. Born: Josephine was born in Alpha, NJ, a daughter of the late John and Frances (Trinchere) Giordano. Personal: Josephine was married to Richard E. Michael before his passing in 2011. She was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1940, and also a graduate of Churchmans Business School. She was a secretary for the Easton Area School District, where she retired from in 1982. Memberships: Josephine was a member of St. Johns UCC Church in Farmersville, Eastern Star, Easton Ambassador Club, and the Retired Secretarys Club. Survivors: Josephine is survived by a son Richard E. Michael, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Bangor; a sister Jane Werkheiser and husband Robert of Easton; a sister-in-law Nancy Giordano; grandson Seth Michael and wife Rebecca of Bethlehem Twp.; great-grandchildren Anthony, Patrick, and Anna; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by sisters Angelina Zingone, Helen Amadore; brothers Andrew, James, and Joseph Giordano. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
