Born: Josephine was born April 23, 1919 in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Natale and Marie Fouti Merlo. Personal: Josephine was married to the late Joseph Saszi, and worked as a machine operator for the former Seamprufe Co., of Easton where she retired in 1998. Memberships: Josephine was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Alpha, NJ. Survivors: Josephine is survived by a son Edward Saszi of Bethlehem Twp., PA; a brother John Merlo of Palmer Twp; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Jacqueline. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Saszi, a son Ron Saszi, sisters Grace Badway and Frances Marinucci, and a brother Ben Salvatore Merlo. Services: Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:00am until 10:00am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp), followed by a memorial service at 10:00am.
