Joyce M. Tomaino, 91, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 in St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Joyce was born in Phillipsburg, NJ a daughter of the late Owen and Lillian (Eck) Sandt. She is preceded in death by her husband Marsilo Tomaino who passed away in 1987.

Joyce retired many years ago from Laneco Department Stores where she had worked as a cashier in the Pohatcong, NJ and south side Easton stores. She had previously worked at the Fredwell Novelty Co. in Easton as a Floor Lady. Joyce was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th & Lehigh St. in Easton.

Joyce is survived by her children Marie T. Altemose and her husband Randall of Bath, PA, Marcia A. Mowad and her husband Joseph of Forks Twp, PA; Siblings Carol Markus, of Bridgewater, NJ, Donald Sandt of Phillipsburg, NJ; four grandchildren Marissa Rossini, Salvatore Tomaino, Joseph and Victoria Mowad; great grandchildren Isabella and Giovanni Rossini and her daughter in-law Mary Tomaino. She is preceded in death by her son James Tomaino;  brothers Charles Sandt and Jack Sandt .

Calling hours will be held Thursday evening 6-8 PM and also Friday morning 8:15-9:15 AM in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  Friday at  10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 9th and Lehigh St Easton, PA. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Williams Twp., PA.
