Name: Guerino G. Franc Jr., 83 of Palmer Twp. passed away Saturday, October 16th, 2010 in Old Orchard Manor Care, Bethlehem Twp. Born: Guerino was born on July 2nd, 1927 in Easton, PA a son of the late Guerino G. and Agnes Sacchetti Franc. Personal: He was employed as a lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light Co. for 37 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW II and then the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War as a Staff Sargeant. He was active for many years in the Northampton County Marine Corps League. Memberships: He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Guerino served as District Deputy and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #345 in Easton and the Pope Pius XII Assembly, and the Serra Club. Guerino always felt honored to have served in the honor guard for the late Pope John Paul II on his visits to the United States. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Jazz Society, Fleas, Moose and volunteered a lot of his time to the Lehigh Valley ARC. Survivors: He is preceded in death by his wife Lucy Franc in 2009. He is survived by his sister in law Carolyn and her husband Bruce Larison of Bethlehem Twp.; two nephews , two nieces; and many grand nieces and nephews. A brother Robert Franc preceded him in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Wednesday Evening from 6 pm 8 pm and also Thursday morning from 8:15 am 9:15 am in the Morello Funeral Home Inc. 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian at 10 am in St. Anthonys Church 9th and Lehigh St. Easton, PA.
