Name: James W. Lorish, Jr., 68, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in his home surrounded by his family. Born: James was born in Slatington, PA, a son of the late James W. Lorish, Sr. and Arlene Lorish. Personal: James was the husband of Barbara (Szabo) Lorish. They celebrated 47 years of marriage last March. He attended Nazareth High School and was a self-employed contractor for Lorish Roofing and Siding. Memberships: James was a life member of the Tatamy Fire Company, the Promised Land Fire Company and Promised Land Sportsmans Association. He was also a life member of the following clubs: Concordia Maennerchor, Citizens Hose, Liberty Hose Company, Fleas and the Safety First Fire Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and devoted friend. He loved spending time at his cabin in Promised Land with his family, friends and his beloved dogs: Jake and Leia. James was a man of Lutheran Faith. Survivors: In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son James B. Lorish of Promise Land, PA; daughters June M. Bruch and husband Dale of Bangor, PA, Tina L. Veloso and husband Fernando of Bethlehem, PA; sisters Ruth Baldwin of Brandenton, FL, Betty Hessler of Bethlehem, PA; a brother Glenn Lorish of Easton, PA and grandchildren Cody Veloso, Meghan Bruch, Joel Bruch, Lauren Heptner, and Jessie Jensen. Services: A calling hour will be held on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.
