Peter Pollick Jr., 84, of Allentown, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA. Peter was born in Hazleton, PA, a son of the late Peter Pollick, Sr., and Anna (Demshock) Pollick. Peter was married to the former Pauline Kokinda, before her passing in 2012. He was a 1948 graduate of Hazleton Area High School. Peter served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked in shipping & handling in the warehouse of Olivetti Corporation, and previously was a nighttime manager for Merits Food Store. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing Bingo, and lunches with his sons four days a week. Peter was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church of Phillipsburg, NJ, and the VFW Post 9308 in New Jersey. Peter is survived by his sons Gary Pollick of Lower Nazareth, Dennis Pollick and wife Patti of Palmer Twp.; a daughter-in-law Becky Pollick of Greeneville, TN; brothers James Pollick and wife Betsy of Gilroy, CA, Robert Pollick and wife June of Perkasie, PA; grandchildren Crystal Hoover, Kyle Pollick, Tyler Pollick, and a great-grandson. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by a son Peter Pollick III, who passed away in 1994. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with an additional calling hour on Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
