Name: Julia T. Petruska, 95, of Easton, PA, went home to the Lord Tuesday, February 14th. She passed away in her home surrounded by her loving adopted family. Born: Julia was born on May 27, 1916, in Martins Creek, PA, a daughter of the late John and Julia Zelenka Petruska. Personal: She worked as a sewing machine operator for the local garment industry, retiring in 1990. She was always reaching out to her neighbors and their children with love. She loved to garden and bake for her many friends. Memberships: Julia was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Survivors: Julia is survived by her caregivers Pierina Kathy and her husband Bert Godshalk, with whom she resided, and she was like a grandmother to their children and grandchildren Laura Williamson, Karen Godshalk, Hope Alvarnaz, Jay-Jay Savercool, Bryanna and Karen Gyurkovics. She is preceded in death by her sisters Madeline Petruska, Elizabeth Petruska, Irene and her husband Joseph Holozsi, and a niece Elizabeth Holozsi. Services: A calling hour will be held on Friday from 9:15 am to 10:15 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th & Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery.
