Name: Julia A. Stevens, 81, of Easton, PA, passed away on Monday, May 23rd, in Easton Hospital. Born: She was born on March 28, 1930, in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ida (Badway) Stevens. Personal: Julia worked as a waitress for several restaurants, including Mikes Steak Shop and Angelos Restaurant. Previously she worked at Fredwell Novelty. She was a 1948 Graduate of Easton Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Theresa Sodality of Our Lady of Lebanon Church. Julia was devoted to her family and her church. She volunteered tirelessly for the church in various capacities, most notably soliciting advertisers for the Heritage Day program, and selling Raffle Tickets. She enjoyed the Christmas Holiday and was featured twice in the Express Times for her home Christmas decorations. Memberships: She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church. Survivors: Julia is survived by her brothers James, Vincent and Michael Stevens, all of Palmer Twp.; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by a sister Louise Stevens Joseph. Services: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer of the Incense at 8:00 pm in Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. An additional calling hour will be held on Thursday from 9:00 am until the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am in the church. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Memorial Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church for a Heritage Day Memorial in Julias name, 55 South 4th Street, Easton, PA 18042.
