Katherine John, 88 of Palmer Twp. passed away Monday November 9, 2009 in Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro. Born: She was born on March 26, 1921 in Easton a daughter of the late Namie and Labebe Bahr John. Personal: Katherine was employed as a seamstress for A&H Sportswear in Easton until her retirement. Memberships: She was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Easton. Katherine was also a member of the St. Theresa Sodality of the Church. Survivors: Katherine is survived by her sister Jamel DeRaymond of Palmer Twp., nephews Jonathan DeRaymond, George and wife Stephanie DeRaymond; a great niece Alyssa DeRaymond and a great nephew Justin DeRaymond. Services: A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 9:15am until 10:15am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp. A Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am in the church, 4th and Ferry Streets in Easton. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
