Katherine "Kitty" Calzetti, 91, of Palmer Twsp., PA, passed away at Moravian Hall Square on Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

Born in Bangor, PA., Kitty was the daughter of the late Anthony and Edith (Perin) Romano.

Kitty graduated from Easton Catholic High School, class of 1946. She then went on to obtain a bachelor's degree at Penn State University. Kitty was a successful Northampton County realtor for many years, first with John A. Frinzi; then in the 80's and 90's, she was an owner of Greentree Realty in Easton.

Kitty was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church in Easton, the St. Jane's women's group, Penn State Alumni Association, and the Knitter's Edge knitting group. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting, reading, and had a love for animals. Kitty's true passion was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kitty is survived by her daughters: Kim Piergallini and her husband Adam, of Bethlehem; Christina Boyer and her husband Don, of Bethlehem; Melanie Calzetti-Spahr and her husband Jay Spahr, of Winchester, MA;  Alison Mullen and her husband Dr. Christopher, of Oxford, MS; and Antonia Calzetti of Larchmont, NY; 7 grandchildren: Nick Piergallini and his wife Karlie, of Morristown, NJ; Maria Cornelius and her husband Shawn, of Washington DC; Jonathan Boyer of Owings Mills, MD; Madeline Spahr of Oakland, CA; Dr. Alexander Mullen and his wife Dr. Cathy Chen, of Jackson, MS;  Katherine Spahr of NYC, Andrew Mullen of NYC; and a brother, Anthony Romano, of Akron, OH. In addition to Kitty's parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Alceo "Rip" Calzetti.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church chapel, 4049 Hartley Ave., Easton, PA (Palmer Twsp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in the church. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Twsp.
