Kathleen Gountis, 77, of Palmer Twp., PA, went home to rest with her Lord and Savior,  Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus.

Kathleen was born in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of the late Mike and Mary (McDougal) Westcott.

Kathleen was married to the love of her life Steven Gountis, Sr., with whom she celebrated 53 years of marriage last March.

She was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church in Bethlehem. She loved nature, watching the birds and deer, chocolate and praying for her family.

In addition to her husband, Kathleen is survived by her sons Steven Gountis, Jr. and wife Christina of Easton, Brian Gountis and wife Jessica of Schuylkill Haven; a brother Michael Westcott and wife Janet of FL; grandchildren Justin, Cameron, Sabre, Shelby, Caidyn, Matthew, Brianna, and Andrew; and a great-grandchild Emelia.

A Gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church 3100 Hecktown Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Memorial Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private and at the convivence of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
