Kathleen Parson, 79, of Nazareth, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem Campus.

Kathleen was born in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y., a daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Hussey) Leahy.

She was a woman of faith, a lifelong teacher, an avid gardener, a lover of books, enjoyed traveling, and was known for her Christmas cookies. Her true love was her family. As the senior member of a large family, she was loved and cherished by all. Up until the end of her life, she continued to put others before herself.

Kathleen is survived by a daughter Laura Harbin and husband, Kenneth of Stroudsburg PA; a son William Parson and wife, Melissa of Hampton, NJ; four grandchildren: Christopher Farley, Kaylin Harbin, Alexander Parson, and Joshua Parson; three great grandchildren, Madison, Jaxson and Lucas; four sisters, Mary, Joan, Regina, and Elizabeth; and three brothers, Robert, Michael, and Joseph. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parson.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11:30 am until  12:30 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 1:00 pm in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Palmer Twp. Interment will be held privately.
