Kathryn A. Isaac, 55, departed this life on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 after a determined fight with lung cancer.

Kathryn was born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 5, 1962, a daughter of Dr. Elias and Mary (DiLullo) Isaac.

Kathryn graduated from William Allen High School in 1980 as a scholar athlete lettering in track, field hockey and basketball. She continued her studies by earning a pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1985 and a doctorate degree in optometry from the Philadelphia College of Optometry in 1990. Fitting children with corrective lenses was her professional passion. She enjoyed traveling to learn about art, food, and different cultures. Above all, she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Dr. Peter and Ann (Stappung) Isaac of Upper Macungie Twp., with their sons Peter and Anthony; brothers Joseph and Elias of Allentown; her sister Melda and niece Julia of Washington, DC.

Kathryn was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4th & Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 pm in the church. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
