LaVerne "Faye" (Farina) Shaner, 78, of Easton, passed away on June 21, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus. Born on July 29, 1943 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Santo F. and LaVerne J. (Reiss) Farina. After graduating from Easton High School in 1961, she achieved her degree in nursing at the Reading Nursing School in 1964. She worked as a registered nurse for the private sector and for 32 years at Gracedale before retiring.

As a member of Easton Women's Bowling Association for over 30 years, Faye was an enthusiastic bowler who bowled in many leagues and served on multiple boards. Her passion for bowling led her to be a junior coach for children. She loved camping with her family at Wildwood every year. Faye was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and because of her passion for sports, she followed every family member's sporting event. The support she gave to her family and friends is a cherished memory they will always have.

Faye is survived by her daughters, Dawn Baird and husband, Dallas, of Tionesta, Deanna "DJ" Cryan of Easton; grandchildren, Alyssa Shaner and her significant other, Shawn, Kendra Getz, Kenny Getz, Jr., Samantha Cryan, Sarah Baird and husband, Zack Graney, Ben Baird and fiancée, Katie Whitmire, Eryn Sharp and husband, Mike; great grandchildren, Jackson, William, Anthony, Theodore; brother, Robin Farina and wife, Ann.

In addition to her parents, Faye was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Farina.

Calling hours will be Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 am followed by interment at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
