Obituary

Lawrence J. Cimino, 89, of Easton, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Easton Hospital.

Lawrence was born in Easton, PA, a son of the late John and Melina Cimino.

Lawrence was married to the former Elma Jean Perry with whom he celebrated 67 years of marriage last July 29. He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1946. Lawrence was Owner & Operator of John Cimino Moving and Storage, in Easton from 1967 until 1988. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed traveling to Florida, and playing pinochle.

Lawrence was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church; and Knights of Columbus where he was a past Grand-Knight.

In addition to his wife, Lawrence is survived by a son John L. Cimino II and wife Maryann of Bethlehem; daughters Melina Nye and husband Jean of Bethlehem, Laura Miller and husband Thomas of Bethlehem, Mary DeVito and husband Anthony of Nazareth; a sister Vivian Schulter of Allentown; grandchildren Jean Nye, Christina Cimino, Gina Cimino, Stephanie DeVito, Jessica DeVito; and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a sister Ann Mary Cimino.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Twp.
