Lee E. Smith, Sr., 89, of Easton passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. Born on November 19, 1933 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Leo William and Laura (Gebhard) Smith. Lee graduated from Easton High School in 1951 and attended Georgetown University on a basketball scholarship before attending Moravian College. In 1954, he married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Corinne May (Neimiller); they enjoyed 75 wonderful years together.

Lee worked for the Pearsall Chemical and the Witco Corporation as a plant manager for over forty years until he retired in 1997. He was a past president of the Industrial Management Club (IMC) of Easton and a member of New Creation United Church of Christ in Palmer Twp. PA. Lee loved sports, and if he wasn't playing softball, golf or league bowling, he was watching. He was an avid New York Yankee and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Along with his wife, Lee is survived by his son, Lee Jr. CAPT – USN (Ret.); his two daughters, Jacqueline and Robin; his five grandchildren: Cassandra, Derek, Katie, Kyle and Kevin; and his one great grandchild, Liam.

Lee was predeceased by his three brothers; Leo, Roy and Ray.
