Obituary

Lester F. Morrow, Jr., 69, of Forks Twp. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in his home surrounded by family. Born on December 10, 1955 in Wilson Borough, he was the son of the Frances M. (Smith) and Lester F. Morrow, Sr.

He graduated from Easton Area High School in 1974 and worked driving truck until his retirement in 1990. Lester was a dedicated member of the Palmer Twp. Volunteer Fire Co., Safety First Volunteer Fire Co., International Association of Fire Fighters, and a volunteer for emergency services if a blackout occurred.  Lester was a caring man who enjoyed volunteering as Santa Clause and participating in the St. Baldrick fundraiser. Each year, he shaved his head to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Lester was an active member of the Phillipsburg Masonic Lodge #52 of the Free & Accepted Masons. He served as Master in 1990 and Lodge Secretary until 2007. He was a dual member of Easton Masonic Lodge #152 Free & Accepted Masons. He was a published member in the Masonic Poets Society and proudly volunteered for the Masonic Service Association of America. He was a Past Officer of Warren County Forrest #14 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

Lester was certified by M.A.R.S., Military Auxiliary Radio System. M.A.R.S. is a Department of Defense program that trains, organizes and tasks volunteer Amateur Radio operators. He was part of an elite group of dedicated citizen volunteers who support the Department of Defense in a variety of circumstances, including complex catastrophes and cyber denied or impaired conditions.

He was someone who could make you smile. His favorite saying was by Brother Red Skelton (a Freemason), "If some day you're not feeling well, and you should remember some little thing I've said or done and if it brings a smile to your face or a chuckle to your heart, then my purpose as a clown has been fulfilled." Lester would like everyone he knew to remember him with a smile on their face.

Lester is survived by his sister, Kathleen Encelewski of Bath, PA; brother, Ronald W. Morrow of Fogelsville, PA; and his lifetime companion, Idelle Bullett.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
