Name: Lewis A. Gruppo, 55 of Easton passed away Monday May 4, 2015 in his home. Born: He was born on March 18, 1960 in Easton a son of Ruth Raesley of South Carolina and the late Lewis A. Gruppo, Jr. Personal: Lewis was a self-employed truck driver for over 25 years. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force Pararescue. Memberships: He was of the Lutheran Faith. Lewis was involved in many organizations and charities including Wounded Warriors, St. Judes Medical Center, National Kidney Foundation, Wilson Midget Football Association, Red Cross Association, Hokey Football and enjoyed listening to Fox Sports, Nationally Syndicated Radio Show and being the Car Chief for Ricky Yetter Racing. Survivors: Lewis is survived by his fiance Hayley Stombaugh with whom he resided; sons Michael Gruppo of Easton, William Gruppo of Whitehall, Daniel Gruppo of Whitehall; daughters Sarah Balut of Phillipsburg, NJ and Jacqlyn Gruppo of Whitehall. Lewis is also survived by sisters Danielle of Copley, Michelle of Phillipsburg, Ruann of South Carolina; brothers Raymond of South Carolina, Andy of South Carolina; grandchildren Mariah, Orianna, Tyler, Orrin; uncle Ron Gruppo of Margate City, NJ and his best friend District Judge Richard Yetter. Services: Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service which will be held on Saturday at 12 noon in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas St. Palmer Twp.
