Liliana (Carvajal) Insalaca, 73, of Palmer Twp. passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Born on September 25, 1949, in San Jose, Costa Rica, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio and Zelmira (Varela) Carvajal. Liliana worked as an office manager for an automotive company in Costa Rica until she moved to the United States in 1983 when she worked as a nanny. She later worked as a seamstress for A&H Sportswear until her retirement in 2012.
Liliana was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking Italian and Spanish food for her family. She had a "green thumb" when it came to gardening. Her flowers were always in full bloom.
Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Angelo Insalaca; sons, Arnold Vargas and his wife, Gloria; Salvatore Insalaca and his wife, Pam; daughter, Sarina Orta and her husband, Mike; sister, Maria Mayela Carvajal; grandchildren, Karley, Amy, Terrance, Brayden, Cassandra, and Dylan.
In addition to her parents, Liliana was preceded in death by her brothers, Gerardo and Rafael Carvajal.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Nineth and Lehigh Streets, Easton, PA.
