Lois C. Burkot

Lois C. (Miller) Burkot, 94, of Easton, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on December 24, 1931 in Philipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Edith (Bishop) Miller.

She graduated from Philipsburg High School, class of 1950 and later attended Churchman’s Business College. Lois served as the secretary on the committee for the class reunion for several terms and later just worked in committees. She was an active bowler for 40 years and most recently for the flower league where she served as president, vice president, and secretary. She attended Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church on a regular basis. She was a member of St. Mary’s Golden Age Club. She was employed by the Cohen Family for years; three years as the secretary for Henry McKeen and Son, esq, and as a secretary for William K. Harlan, MD. She enjoyed reading and traveling to many states, islands, and countries.

Lois is survived by her husband of 63 years, Anthony G. Burkot; son, Andrew T. Burkot; sisters-in-law, Jane Miller; Jenneen Miller; nieces and nephews, Breana, Ethan, Eric and his wife, Jane, Susan, Folee, Frank, Mansour, Jenny, Eva, Rita.

In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her nephew, Franklin H. Miller; nieces, Laurie Sue Cosner, Leslie Miller, sister-in-law, Eva Farhat; and friends, Christine Merlo, Lorraine Boulos and Louise Badway.

A calling hour will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, Fourth and Ferry Streets, Easton, PA. Divine Liturgy will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
