Lois E. Condosta, 84, of Palmer Township, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Strauss) Placet. After graduating from Cliffside Park High School, she was employed at McGraw Hill publishing house in New York. She later devoted herself to being a homemaker and mother before returning to the workforce. She finished her career as a sales associate for Sam's Club in Lower Nazareth Township.
She was a devout Roman Catholic and parishioner of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church for 50 years. She was also a past president of the Shawnee Middle School PTA.
Lois was a social butterfly and enjoyed a good conversation with anyone and everyone. She was an excellent cook and baker. She was known for her delicious Christmas cookies, apple pie, stuffed shells and chicken soup.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Condosta and his wife, Melanie of Lakewood, OH; Robert Condosta and his wife, Wendy of New Windsor, NY; William Condosta and his fiancé, Lisa of Bethlehem; Daniel Condosta and his wife, Amy of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Josh and his wife, Tracey, Justin, Kristen and her husband, Alex, Jewell, Mia, Jackson and Jaydan; great granddaughter, Ryann. She also leaves behind a sister, Audrey Beglin, of Allentown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Thomas D. Condosta.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM in the church. Interment will take place at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp. Memorial contributions in Lois's name may be made to St. Jane's de Chantel Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA 18045.
