Loretta G. (Gittings) Huber, 96, of Easton, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Promedica Allentown. Born on September 26, 1926 in Easton she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Meixell) Gittings. She graduated from Wilson Borough High School class of 1944. Loretta worked at Binney and Smith, which later became Crayola, for 24 years as a crayon labeler.  She celebrated 49 years of marriage with the love of her life, Walter M. Huber until his passing in 1996.

She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel Church and the Easton Exchangettes. Loretta was a talented artist and was known for her beautiful oil paintings. Her greatest enjoyment in life was becoming a mother and taking care of her continually growing family which would become her legacy.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Huber and his wife, Sally of Bath; William Huber and his fiancé, Heidi Misero of Wilson Borough; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; a sister, Jeanette Smith and her husband, Manus of Palmer Township; 13 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her daughter, Carole Csiszlak; sisters, Mary Gittings, Sister Ann Dorothy Gittings, Shirley Resse, Joan Stull; brothers James and Elwood Gittings.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton (Palmer Twp). A graveside service will follow at Hope Cemetery, Lower Nazareth Township. Memorial contributions in Loretta's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
