Loretta M. Peenie Kline, 78, of Allentown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Phoebe Home. Loretta was born in Easton, PA, a daughter of the late Salvatore LaRosa, Jr., and Susan (Bodock) LaRosa. Loretta was a graduate of Easton Catholic School, class of 1954. She was a Key Punch Operator and worked in the Billing Department in Bethlehem Steel, before retiring in 2000. Loretta was a member of Notre Dame Church in Bethlehem, Garden Club of Cherryville, PA, the Red Hat Society, and AARP. Loretta is survived by a son Jeffrey Kline and wife Gladys of Reading; a daughter Christine Platia and husband Lou of Orefield; grandchildren Jonathan, Alexander, Ariana, and Gabrielle. She is preceded in death by a brother Richard Skip LaRosa. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp). An additional calling hour will be held on Monday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in Notre Dame Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in the church. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp.
