Lorraine C. Race, 84, of Palmer Twp. passed away on August 23, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born on June 8, 1939 in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Bozzelli) Finelli. Lorraine shared 38 years of marriage with John A. Race before his passing in 2015.

She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. She was a devout catholic who believed in the power of prayer. She had worked at St. Francis Retreat House and during her free time, she enjoyed doing crosswords and being with her grandchildren.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Michael Race and his wife, Andrea of Easton; sister, Judy Rossini of Easton; grandchildren, Ethan and Rylee.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother, Victor F. Finelli.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp. Memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
