Lorraine Ann Stueber, 85 of Easton, passed away July 30th, 2018 where she lived in Gainesville, FL.

Born April 5, 1933 in Phillipsburg, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Peter William and Anna Mary (Grisbon) Stueber.

Lorraine was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School class of 1950. She earned her bachelor's degree from Douglas College and Master's from Lehigh University. She was a teacher and guidance counselor at Wilson Area High School until her retirement in 1993.  During her time at Wilson, she directed the senior plays for 8 years and was the twirling director for 12 years. She was also an active member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg. She was a choir member, Sunday School teacher, lay reader and in charge of the church register.  Lorraine volunteered for Meals on Wheels and at Easton Hospital. She had memberships in the Eastern Star, PSEA, NEA and PSER.

She is survived by sister and brother in law, Norma and Jerry Goodhard, sister in law, Joan Stueber, nephew and wife, Eric and Khrystina (Gallego) Goodhard and their children, Alexandra and Annessa, niece and husband, Suzanne (Goodhard) and Kenneth Kirkland.

A calling hour will be held on September 22, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am in St. John's Lutheran Church, 278 Chamber St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865, followed by a memorial service in the church. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, 123 Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 .
