Louis E. Ciccarelli, 87, of Easton, PA passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus.
Louis is the son of the late Zillio and Mamie (Boscia) Ciccarelli. Lou played football for Easton High School and continued to follow the program after he graduated in 1952. He received his associates in Business Management from Churchman Business school. Lou was in the United States Army in 1955 to 1962 and received a good conduct medal. He was the Business Manager for Easton Area School District.
Lou was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Easton, PA and of the YMCA of Easton. He enjoyed watching his son-in-law's wrestling teams from Nazareth and Wilson Area High Schools, his grandson's Easton High School baseball team, his granddaughters' Easton High School band and choir programs. He followed his grandson's Nazareth High School and Penn State wrestling teams. He loved all animals and especially enjoyed cooking for his family. When he wasn't preparing taxes for countless clients, family and friends, he was taking time to have breakfast with his wife, Joanne and great grandson, Rhett.
Lou is survived by two daughters Jacquelyne A. Crowell and her husband David A. Crowell of Forks Twp., LuAnne M. Gallin and her husband Jeffrey C. Gallin of Palmer Twp., 5 grandchildren Casey A. Smith and her husband Ryan L. Smith, David S. Crowell, Colin J. Crowell, Sarah A. Gallin and Elena E. Gallin, two great grandchildren Rhett L. Smith, and Ridge R. Smith, and a sister Nancy Rutt, of Palmer Twp.
One year ago this month, Lou lost his beloved wife, Joanne (Brasso) Ciccarelli. He is also predeceased by his sister Marion Willever and her husband Bob, and a brother-in-law, Claire "Chubby" Rutt.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Graveside services will be private and at the conveniences of the family. Contributions in Lou's memory can be made to Jacquelyne A. Crowell and mailed in care of Morello Funeral Home. Your contributions will be made by Lou's family for the benefit of the loving caregivers and frontline heroes at The Easton Home who took such loving care of him for the past eight months.
