Louis D. Hanni, 72, of Easton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 10, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital Anderson Campus, Easton, PA.
Born in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Lucy G. (Arcadipane) Hanni. He graduated from Notre Dame High School, class of 1970 and Northampton Community College with an Associate's Degree in Transportation in 1972. He was married to the love of his life, Dixie (Behler) Hanni for 44 years.
Louis was the owner of Hanni's Market in Easton for many years. Louis enjoyed life to the fullest and always held a special bond with his loving daughter. He was always willing to help family members or friends in need.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Hanni, of Palmer Twp.; sister, Mary E. Sobrinski and her husband, Patrick of Bethlehem; brothers, Norman P. Hanni and his wife, Elizabeth, of West Easton, Stephen P. Hanni and his wife, Odette, of Wilson Boro, Paul J. Hanni of Bethlehem; mother-in-law, Mina Behler; sister-in-law, Terry Herman and her husband, Edward; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother, David N. Hanni, Sr.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer of the Incense at 7:30 p.m., an additional calling hour will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in Morello Funeral Home Inc, 3720 Nicholas St. Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 55 South 4 th Street, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at Belfast Cemetery, in Belfast, PA.
