Louis J. Spagnola, 93, of Palmer Township passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, October 10, 2022. Born on December 16, 1928, he was the son of the late Anthony and Maria (Cilli) Spagnola. He served as a corporal in The United States Army during the Korean War with the 64 th Brigade Support Battalion. Upon his honorable discharge, he worked as a machine operator for Lehigh Foundry until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Mimma (Bompane); son, Louis A. Spagnola; and grandson, Miles Louis Spagnola.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his sisters, Edie Spagnola who died in infancy, Anna Raymond, Edie Morello, Yolanda Guzza, Sadie Minotti, Marie Spagnola, Antoinette Messina and brothers, James and Joseph Spagnola.
Niche side services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:30 pm at Northampton Memorial Shrine Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
